Nick Jaye Beckenham  club Instructor, 1st Degree black sash in Kung Fu and Association Secretary. Nick has been training with Phoenix Martial Arts since 1997 and has a background in Karate, he teaches children and adults in Surrey and Kent.

Nick opened his first class in February 2004 and now runs five classes teaching kickboxing and Kung Fu to Juniors and Seniors in Beckenham. He runs courses for Schools and Health Clubs as well as private lessons for individuals and small groups. Beckenham club has two Junior classes for 5yrs and over, two Senior classes and a dedicated Beginners Only class that gives new students a structured and enjoyable introduction to Kickboxing and is ideal for aspiring Martial Artists.

Nick is the Association Secretary and deals with a multitude of administration, marketing and design projects such as CRB checks, the Instructors code of conduct, development of the www.pmakickboxing.com website, signage, forms and promotions. Nick has with his business knowledge and commercial experience been instrumental in helping to make Phoenix Martial Arts not only easy to find but find out about and has greatly contributed to the Associations popularity in recent years, making it available to as many people as possible and one of the foremost Martial Arts destinations in the South of England.

Nick says "Training to the level of Black sash has been one of the most enjoyable sporting challenges I have ever had. It is an awesome feeling to pass on that same enjoyment and challenge to the students I teach. At Beckenham we have some of the finest students in the Association varying in age and ability, they are both enjoyable and rewarding to teach. Students don’t have to be the best at everything but every student has something special to offer and achieve.”
